The MA in Education - Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership programme is designed to support individuals across a wide range of sectors who hold coaching, mentoring and/or leadership roles and responsibilities. It attracts an interdisciplinary class from sectors such as education, military, health, public services, and business.
The course ethos is informed, first and foremost, by a renowned student-centred approach focusing on developing and enhancing professionals’ practice and specific subject expertise through a critical and reflective action research methodology.
The MA in Education - Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership programme enables practitioners to hone their coaching and mentoring skills and to carry out small scale research within these fields to enhance practice within their organisations. It provides an excellent opportunity for practitioners to continue with their own professional development which often leads to career progression and/or promotion.
The Advanced Entry route programme is available to students that already hold relevant experience and a recognised Postgraduate Diploma (PgD) in Coaching and Mentoring or an equivalent qualification.
The Advanced Entry route programme consists of a Research Methods module and a Consultancy Project Report on a related topic of your choice, making it a popular option for individuals committed to developing their careers in senior management.
The programme begins with Induction and Research Methods webinars for approximately 4 weeks which enables you to finalise your proposal for your project.
The Consultancy Project Report module provides the opportunity for students to examine an area of particular interest within an appropriate organisational context. The module is designed to make a major contribution to professional and intellectual development, through enabling students to demonstrate their capacity for sustained independent thought, learning and critical reflection.
The purpose of this programme is to deliver a practical and realistic solution to a business-related strategic challenge, which in turn is supported by appropriate reference to theoretical and conceptual analysis. Students will evidence this by producing a Consultancy Project Report of 12,000 words.
The Consultancy Project Report is delivered and assessed by our UK based academic team using our virtual learning platform and direct support from your allocated supervisor.
The Advanced Entry route programme takes approximately 6 – 9 months to complete working with the support of your dedicated supervisor for the final Consultancy Project Report module.

You will receive excellent support from our academic team, including your programme manager and your dedicated supervisor who will be with you every step of the way.
On successful completion of the programme, the student will be awarded the degree of 'MA in Education - Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership' from respective university. Students will also have the opportunity to attend the graduation ceremony in UK.
