Environmental and sustainability issues are at the forefront of global concerns. Consequently, globally there is increasing demand for competent, qualified environmental managers. Managing the environment is of increasing importance to governments and industries.
This Masters programme provides you with an in-depth critical understanding of today’s major environmental challenges to develop expertise and expand your knowledge and skills needed for effective, informed, and creative environmental management. You’ll examine current local and global concerns in areas such as environmental protection, legislation and policy, and natural resource management. Develop your skills in analysing the issues and improving environmental performance in all sectors.
The Advanced Entry route programme is available to students that already hold relevant experience and a recognised Postgraduate Diploma (PgD) in Environmental Management or an equivalent qualification.
The Advanced Entry route programme consists of a Research Methods module and a Consultancy Project Report on a related topic of your choice, making it a popular option for individuals committed to developing their careers in senior management.
The programme begins with Induction and Research Methods webinars for approximately 4 weeks which enables you to finalise your proposal for your project.
The Consultancy Project Report module provides the opportunity for students to examine an area of particular interest within an appropriate organisational context. The module is designed to make a major contribution to professional and intellectual development, through enabling students to demonstrate their capacity for sustained independent thought, learning and critical reflection.
The purpose of this programme is to deliver a practical and realistic solution to a business-related strategic challenge, which in turn is supported by appropriate reference to theoretical and conceptual analysis. Students will evidence this by producing a Consultancy Project Report of 12,000 words.
The Consultancy Project Report is delivered and assessed by our UK based academic team using our virtual learning platform and direct support from your allocated supervisor.
The Advanced Entry route programme takes approximately 6 - 9 months to complete working with the support of your dedicated supervisor for the final Consultancy Project Report module.
We want students on our programme to have the support they need to make the most of their investment in their own future.
You will receive excellent support from our academic team, including your programme manager and your dedicated supervisor who will be with you every step of the way.
On successful completion of the programme, the student will be awarded the degree of 'MSc in Environmental Change and Management' from respective university. Students will also have the opportunity to attend the graduation ceremony in UK.
